...Once you've had your first treatment session, you'll immediately know that Antalgic-Trak is a uniquely specialized system.

What Is the articulating Antalgic-Trak?
In the year 1999 Dr. David Bass had an idea to improve spinal decompression. He believed so strongly in his idea, he dedicated years of research and development to turn the idea into a reality. Today, Antalgic-Trak spinal treatment systems are successfully treating patients across the country and the world. |

However, Dr Bass' most important innovations are the articulation features. These multi-axis movable sections make it possible for the doctor to vary the posture of the spine during the treatment. Varying spinal postures improves the effectiveness of the therapeutic pulling. In fact "Multi-postural" decompression is considered safer for the spine than the older "uni-postural" systems. And if you're a patient, that means better results.
The multi-postural articulation features enable your doctor to perform soothing spinal "range-of-motion" therapy. This gently restores normal spinal joint gliding which is essential if you wish to reduce pain. See the images below...
Doctors and therapists have embraced the new and improved technology and hail its creation as one of the most dramatic improvements in non-surgical spinal therapy ever created. The sophisticated articulating features and the state-of-the-art "Range-of-Motion" features have changed everything. It makes every other system seem obsolete.
What if I'm in pain and I can't lie in a comfortable position? Antalgic-Trak can make you comfortable by positioning itself into your "condition posture." Condition postures are postures that patients bend or lean into to avoid pain. The Antalgic-Trak can duplicate that posture and begin your therapy in that posture. As you improve, we begin to move the adjustable sections back towards spinal neutrality until you are comfortable in a normal neutral posture.
Multiple Postured Decompression: This feature enables the doctor to position the spine exactly how your spine needs it, and then perform the decompression therapy. This re-directs and controls how and where the therapy moves through the spine. Improved targeting means improved results.
There are multiple treatment applications with the Antalgic-Trak. Some patients only receive traction or decompression. Others receive the traction or decompression in combination with the gentle "range-of-motion" therapy. And lastly, some patients receive range-of-motion therapy only. Your doctor or therapist will help determine which is most appropriate.
In 2004, Dr. Bass partnered with colleague and friend Dr. Scott Denny (co-developer of the project) and together they co-founded Spinetronics, LLC, the manufacturer of Antalgic-Trak. Dr. Denny's insights and clinical knowledge helped advance the capabilities of the Antalgic-Trak into the state-of-the-art treatment system it is today. Dr Denny is one of the most clinically competent doctors in the country and a tremendous addition to Spinetronics.
